Italy is one of the most requested destinations in the world for weddings, and it is easy to understand why. The combination of extraordinary venues, exceptional food and wine, a culture built around celebration and some of the most beautiful light in Europe makes it a setting that is almost impossible to replicate anywhere else.
I am based in Tuscany, which places me at the centre of the most requested destination wedding region in Italy. From here I work across the entire country, from the Amalfi Coast and Sicily in the south to Lake Como and the Dolomites in the north, as well as internationally when couples invite me to travel with them.

Tuscany is where most of my work is concentrated and where I know the landscape, the venues and the light most intimately. I have photographed weddings at some of the most beautiful and exclusive estates in the region, including Borgo Santo Pietro, Il Borro, Belmond Villa San Michele, Villa Cora, Castiglion del Bosco, Vignamaggio and many others.
The variety of settings available in Tuscany is extraordinary. Rolling hills and vineyard estates in Chianti, historic castles near Siena, elegant villas above Florence, intimate countryside farms in Val d'Orcia. Each has its own character, its own light and its own atmosphere.

Florence and the Cities of Art
Florence is one of the most beautiful cities in the world for wedding photography. The combination of Renaissance architecture, intimate streets, the Arno riverbank and iconic viewpoints creates a setting that produces images with a completely different quality from the Tuscan countryside.
I photograph weddings and elopements in Florence regularly, working at venues including Villa Cora, Belmond Villa San Michele, St Regis Florence and Villa Corsini, as well as outdoor sessions throughout the city.

My Approach to Destination Wedding Photography
My style is based on a balance between documentary storytelling and refined portraiture. I work exclusively with natural light and prime lenses, a 35mm, 50mm and 85mm, which means the images feel honest and real rather than staged or over-produced.
I work with a small, trusted team of collaborators who share the same approach. When a wedding requires additional coverage I bring them in, and every person on set operates with the same discretion and focus.
The most important thing for me is that the couple feels completely at ease throughout the day. Everything else follows from that.
